Having a great team of people that I feel very fortunate to work with on a daily basis.

I am sure I should follow the standard “spending time socialising with family and friends, travel, eating out, reading and walking the dog”.

While all the above are enjoyable, except for the dog walking as I don’t have one, I can honestly say that I am very happy to escape email and the mobile telephone and just spend a few hours in my own company.

I am always happy to hear good news from someone close to me, whether that’s something they have achieved or something that makes them happy. There’s nothing better.

Producing two well-rounded happy daughters. This is primarily due to my wife’s hard work but I believe I played a small part in the process. I’m very proud of all three of them.

I began my working life in a craft bakery working with dough. It’s rather ironic that almost 40 years later I am still working with “dough” of a slightly different texture.
