Meet Kate

Kate has 30 years’ corporate experience in retail and banking. She met the owners of Griffiths Marshall while working as a Private Client Manager and has been working with them for the past four years.

Kate is responsible for the continuous improvement of the business. This is through meetings with fellow directors where client’s needs are reviewed, ensuring compliance with FCA rules and planning training. Kate regularly liaises with the advisers and actively seeks feedback from clients to ensure delivery on  commitments. This enables the promotion of personal and professional growth.

What do you most enjoy about your job?

My role offers me a wide variety of opportunities and challenges. I really enjoy working with colleagues throughout the business and the interaction I have with our clients. Every day is different and there is always something new to learn.

How do you most like to spend your time outside of work?

In no particular order: spending time with family and friends, eating out, gym and swim, walking the dog and beach holidays.

Something guaranteed to make your day better…

A clear blue sky on a sunny day; hearing a favourite song I’ve forgotten about on the radio; and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.

The last book you recommended to someone…

Peter James – “Dead Man’s Footsteps”. There are 17 books in the series and it’s taken me four years to read the first four. Thank goodness ITV are now bringing them to the small screen!

What makes you laugh?

Lee Mack, David Mitchell and the Big Bang Theory.

Is there a quote or motto you try to live by?

You can have anything, but you can’t have everything.

Something people might be surprised to learn about you…

My guilty lockdown pleasure was watching all 24 Marvel films.
