Meet Ian
Ian has more than 20 years’ experience in the business world. Trained as a Chartered Accountant, Ian joined Griffiths Marshall as a trainee and was promoted internally to become a partner in the business. Having been a partner for more than 12 years, he was appointed Managing Partner in 2019.
As a Chartered Accountant, Ian is responsible for statutory requirements including financial reporting and accounting. He is also involved in the strategic direction and development of the business. Ian regularly attends meetings with clients and wealth advisers to provide a consistent, joined up approach.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
Spotting opportunities for the business and clients and finding positive solutions to business challenges.
The last TV series you recommended to someone…
“Line of Duty”. Police/ Detective dramas are my guilty pleasure.
What makes you laugh?
The thing I laugh most at is myself. I have been accused of lacking common sense. I’m always happy to poke fun at myself to make others smile.

Don’t take yourself too seriously.
An achievement you’re really proud of…
Becoming a partner. And getting three children through home schooling!

Leighton Parkes
Director
Leighton has been part of the Prosser Knowles team (now Perspective (Prosser Knowles)) for over twenty years, during which he has developed both personally and professionally. Before joining the firm, Leighton worked in a completely different industry, supporting clients in the aerospace, medical and Formula One sectors. It was a very different role but one he remembers fondly and gained many valuable experiences from. Throughout his entire career, he has always put clients first – they are the reason for his continued success.

What do you most enjoy about your job?
Meeting new people and taking them on a journey through retirement, ensuring they meet their goals. Also looking for ways to improve client positions and highlighting the opportunities to them.

What makes you laugh?
I laugh a lot, normally at myself. It is great to make people smile and be happy.
Is there a quote or motto you try to live by?
Be good to people and people will be good to you.
An achievement you’re really proud of…
I am mostly proud of my family and the circle of friends that we have. We are always happy to support each other and be there for each other when needed.
How do you most like to spend your time outside of work?
Watching and playing sport and socialising when not away on holiday. We have been fortunate to go to some fantastic places over the years, with much more to see.
Greg Lewis

Meet Greg
Greg has been part of Griffiths Marshall for over 20 years, first joining on a day release scheme while training as a footballer with Cheltenham Town FC before moving into a full time role in 2006. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2009 and has since progressed to lead the firm’s audit team, building strong, long standing relationships with clients along the way.
Greg values genuine connection and being a trusted sounding board for clients, offering clear, practical advice whenever they need it. His involvement in the Wealth Management joint venture reflects his commitment to giving clients more – working closely with advisers to offer a joined up, seamless experience across both services.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
Being out on the road meeting clients and building the strong relationships that help me support them.

What makes you laugh?
In life, my wife has suggested I should put her name down. So Joanne… Joanne makes me laugh!
Is there a quote or motto you try to live by?
Not really any particular quote but I’m a firm believer that if you do not set out to achieve something in the morning, you certainly won’t achieve it in the afternoon.
How do you most like to spend your time outside of work?
Life very much revolves around my children. We fill our weekends with kids activities and I try to play golf in the summer.

I can speak Welsh, well I learned for 3 years and know how to ask the time and count to 10.

Ian Wilkinson joined the board of directors at Griffiths Marshall Wealth Management following Perspective Financial Group’s acquisition of Prosser Knowles. He is Chief Executive Officer of Perspective Financial Group Limited, where he is responsible for all aspects of the Group’s operation and performance across its growing national network in the UK, bringing over 30 years’ experience in management and financial advice.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
Driving the continued growth of Perspective and helping shape the long-term vision of the business.

Meet Goss
Goss has worked in the financial services and insurance sectors since 2010. Goss provides advice on pensions and investments, as well as mortgages, equity release and protection, having obtained professional qualifications in these areas.
Goss enjoys working with families, providing advice that benefits all family members, from pension advice for parents to mortgage advice for a younger member of the family who is a first-time buyer.
Day to day, Goss’s role includes meeting with clients, writing reports, submitting applications, researching solutions, carrying out reviews to ensure clients are remaining on track to achieve their objectives and liaising with product providers.

Stephen is a Chartered Financial Planner with over 20 years’ experience helping clients define their goals and build plans that genuinely work for real life. With a career that spans business leadership, banking and investment, he brings practical insight to complex financial decisions. He lives in Bristol with his two teenage daughters and spends his spare time restoring a 1973 Triumph Spitfire and riding his Speedmaster cruiser.

Rachel Robb
Mortgage & Protection Specialist
Meet Rachel
Rachel started working in the financial services sector as an apprentice in 2012 before quickly securing a role as a Client Services Team member. From there, she completed further studies in financial services before deciding to train as a Financial Adviser. She completed her DipFA and CeMAP in 2017. Her days are spent speaking to clients, liaising with product providers and mortgage lenders, and keeping up to date with financial news.
